Plantation coffee (Ngila) from the Karatu region in the state of Tanzania.

Located at the foot of the Ngorongoro Crater, the plantation has been able to innovate since 1990 with new irrigation systems, new methods and advanced processing tools.

The water used comes from the Endoro River, which allows the plant to be well nourished (unlike many countries with water difficulties), making this coffee one of the most interesting in the country.

The process is washed according to the traditional method: after stripping the cherry, it is fermented for 12-18 hours and then dried on "African beds", raised and ventilated beds that allow uniform drying of the grain.

The cup we make is very special, like all washed African coffees. We have an important acidity, even if the aromas of berries, such as currant and blueberry, are sharp and clear, giving a pleasant sweetness both in espresso and in filter.
